Talk about AMAZING!!!! It was like I was waiting to see my grandmother (at a young age) walking out of the kitchen!!!! BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN BEAUMONT!!! As I noticed elected city officials walking in for lunch I knew we were in the right place!!!! EVERYTHING from the sweet potatoes to the perfectly seasoned cabbage, the blacked eyed peas and rice and gravy was just one treat after another!!!! Best kept secret in Beaumont! It may not look like much from the outside, but your insides will thank you for stopping by!!!! DELICIOUS!!! My co-workers were impressed as well... 50 "OH MY GOD THIS IS SO GOOD"s and the statement, "This is life changing chicken" says it all... GIVE IT A TRY!!!!
The chicken is soooo good! It's so fresh and fried to golden perfection ! You can tell the oil they use to fry the chicken is fresh as well. You might have to wait awhile depending on the time you come but the staff makes you feel right at home !
This food was amazing today. I went back to the office and my Co workers went back and got a plate as well. Great customer service over the phone. I had fried chicken, rice, black eye peas, yams and cabbage. Only negative I want better cornbread mines was hard and wasn't sweet. I will be back soon! This plate was $9. I gave them $10 it's worth it

The Turkey wings lunch dinner was amazimg..tender and perfect with seasoning just like my Grandma use to make!The mustard greens were also seasoned well with the perfect tenderness not undercooked like so many places!Beans were perfect!This is outstanding comfort food!
I really like this gem of a place! The service is slow so don't come if you are in a hurry but friendly, more importantly the fried chicken is great and the fried catfish so tender & crispy!! It's in a house looking building behind Kickin Chicken. The interior is basic (& looks a little dirty) with some tables/chairs & booths, but again, more importantly the chicken & catfish are like eating a little piece of fried heaven. I'm looking forward to my next visit! Also keep in mind it's CASH only so come prepared:)
I generally only get the double cheeseburger basket, but my coworkers say it's the best fried chicken in town.
